Traffic metering and control points

To record the intensity and composition of road traffic and to control traffic light objects Sorb Engineering LLC produces special kits:

  • Traffic intensity metering points

The Smartroad traffic intensity metering point is designed to provide round-the-clock recording of traffic intensity and composition of road traffic throughout the year on public roads.

It also carries out round-the-clock monitoring of basic traffic parameters such as traffic intensity, average speed of the traffic flow, composition of the traffic flow, density of the traffic flow, queue length, interval between vehicles and other parameters of the traffic flow.

  • Traffic light control points

Traffic light control point is used to create adaptive control of traffic flows at traffic lights.

Traffic control cabinets
Traffic control cabinets are designed for the installation of traffic intensity metering point (traffic light control point) equipment in the street and in unheated buildings.

The cabinet body is made of polyester with fiberglass reinforcement to improve toughness.

The high-strength plastic body is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and chemical reagents.

Withstands shock loads up to 7 J.

The travel cabinet body can withstand exposure to aggressive environments (salt spray, acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, reducing agents).

The door fits tightly to the body and has a polyurethane seal, is closed with two locks and provides tightness with a degree of protection IP65.

In the insulated version of the cabinet, the body is insulated from the inside with a layer of polyethylene foam. 

Inside the case, on the rear wall, there is a mounting panel for placing equipment.

DIN rails can be moved inside the housing to the desired distance and the equipment can be arranged in several levels.
