Road side units V2X RSU

Telecommunication hardware and software device for interaction with car transponders (devices which identify the payer and register the passing through the toll plaza), by the use of a v2x technology of the DSRC standard of  dedicated radioconnection of close action at a frequency of 5, 8 GHz according to the CEN TC278 and EFC (a standard describing the electronic fee collection).  

DSRC technology is a type of Wi-Fi technology in moving vehicles.

The RSU construction provides a precisely set up zone, which excludes information reading from another lane. The RSU is a complete analog of foreign equipment (Infomobility Topcon RSU TC278 SL/12L, Q free RSE 65X, Kapsch TRX-1320) and supports a set of commands to exchange data with a transponder according to the European standard ISO 14906:2004.

RSU are installed above the roads on special poles: lighting poles, aboveground structures, masts or portal frames at the entrances of exits, at the toll plazas, at the crossings and on the parking lots.

RSU are installed in the free flow systems  and can be set up to operate with the different EFC systems, including the CARDME application.

RSU can autonomously carry out full or partial transactions. Transaction security is provided by DES-3DES cyphering. A carried-out transaction is supplied with a sound. The device setup can be performed via browser.
