The sensor is equipped with an antenna directed along the road, with a small horizontal viewing angle of 30⁰. At the same time, it covers all the basic needs for use as part of automated monitoring and control systems on sections of highways with medium traffic intensity and on small intersections.
The sensor is capable of simultaneously tracking up to 128 moving and stationary objects in the control zone; the maximum vehicle detection range is limited to a distance of 250 m.
TMS.13 T-25 corresponds to type II traffic sensors according to GOST 34.401-90.
Standard installation height is 6 m. Maximum installation height is 10 m.

- Control of highways for collecting and analyzing transport data, recording traffic events and incidents
- Counting of passing vehicles, including by each lane in each direction
- Determination of vehicle classification by length
- Determination of flow density, 85% flow speed, instantaneous average flow speed, speed of individual vehicles
- Determination of the time interval between passing vehicles
