Sorb Engineering LLC is the first Russian company, which has developed and launched the production of domestic transponders for passing through toll roads in less than a year.

After the introduction of sanctions and the cessation of delivery of DSRC-antennas and foreign transponders Sorb Engineering LLC has been developing a Russian product.

In the production of a transponder, we have applied the experience of its use on the Russian roads, and tactic-technical characteristics of a transponder are very close to the existing analogues. Distinctive features of the new device are high reliability and reaction speed (transponders were tested at a speed up to 280 km/h), unique scheme solution and a high percent of production localization. The device has the following advantages: autonomous work without additional charging, passing through toll plazas without stopping and a possibility of installation on any vehicle. In the development of a transponder we used the Russian equipment:  anechoic chambers, slewing rings and target simulators.  

The first delivery was passed over to the customer («Avtodor – Toll roads») in the summer of 2023.The transponder replaces the production of companies that left the Russian market.

Now the company develops the prototype of the RSU antenna to provide full coverage of the “User – road infrastructure” chain.
